Hello and welcome to my website, my name is Lisa and I live in the small village of Armitage in Staffordshire.
I have four children of my own, aged 14, 11, 7 and 3. The eldest attends The Friary School in Lichfield and the middle two attend The Croft Primary. My youngest attends Armitage Pre-school. I have a network of close friends in the village as well as a good friendship with other childminders. I registered as a childminder in August 2005 and have had experience ranging from the ages of six months to eight years. I am also a qualified Nursery Nurse (NNEB) and a General Nurse, specialising in Intensive Care of the Newborn. I believe that every child is special and my aim is to provide care for children in my own home, giving them a ‘home from home’ environment, encouraging their independence, positive relationships, learning and development. I want every parent to feel happy in the knowledge that while they are working, their precious little ones have been left in such an environment where they can continue to develop and grow into happy, contented and confident individuals.

Overall effectiveness of the early years provision
Overall, the quality of the provision is outstanding. Children make exceptional progress in the care of this professional and highly committed childminder who strives to improve outcomes for all children. An extensive range of experiences offered ensures that children are happy and very settled in the stimulating and homely environment. The childminder is highly reflective of her practice and evaluates how future improvements can be made.
My Qualifications and Training:
I will continue to attend courses which I feel will be of benefit to myself as a childminder and to the children I care for.
