We have lived in the village of Armitage for over ten years. We are situated at the end of a quiet cul-de-sac, within walking distance to the local school.

The downstairs of the house, which is wheelchair friendly, is used for Childminding, which includes;

  • A playroom with lots of natural light, containing sofa, cupboards and shelves with easy reach resources for children of all ages. We have wall displays referring to present topics, season etc. There is also a T.V. with DVD player and a stereo for music and movement.
  • A lounge with T.V. which is usually used as a ‘quiet room’ or an area for younger children to take naps.
  • Large dining kitchen. Contains large table for meal times and craft activities. There is also a smaller child friendly table and chairs for the younger ones.
  • Cloakroom with toilet and hand washing facilities, with step stool. The children have their own towels and flannels.
  • Enclosed garden leading from the dining/kitchen. Containing patio area, partly covered by gazebo for outdoor play in wet /hot weather, lawn and a trampoline with safety enclosure.
